Cat-House Ragdoll Cattery

We make your dreams of a wonderful, furry friend perfectly suited to your family come true. Be sure to come to us if you want to have a kitten with a fantastic temperament, a kitten which will be entering your world confidently. Come meet us and our cats. I will tell you about each of my fur babies, I will introduce their parents. Please remember that breeding is not a business for me - it's a passion. Kittens are not products- they are living, sentient beings. We are not sellers this is not a customer service department- this is our home, our family, to which we invite the future carers of our kittens. We want to meet the family to whom we forward our kittens, but please consider that after meeting some of you we are not always willing to give them away. Many people forget about it... as well as about the fact that our cattery is a private place - it's not a store, warehouse or other commercial space. This is a family home, a private space to which I invite you to introduce myself and the kittens.

When do our kittens change home?

Kittens leave our home to live with their new FAMILIES when they are 3 months old.  If the kitten will live abroad, they will travel to their family at the earliest 4 months of age. You often ask ’Why do you keep the kittens for so long?’. You wish to socialize the kittens yourself etc... we even got accused that we are probably waiting for someone who wants a cat for breeding, i.e. for more money.

When do our kittens change home?

First few weeks- key period in kittens’ development

At that time, the mother, siblings and the people have the most important impact on the kitten. The future character of the young cat is being shaped. One cannot take a day from that time because every day is an epoch ... it's years compared to the human species. All outside signals, events and emotions that the little kitty experiences during the period of primary socialization remain in their memory and have a huge impact on their behaviour in the future.

Kittens’ immunity

Immunity sucked out with mother's milk decreases starting 7-8 weeks of the kitten’s life, and if it is not maintained properly by the appropriate vaccinations at some point it drops to zero. For the vaccine to work, kittens should not be vaccinated too soon. The minimum age for the first vaccination is 8 weeks, the second vaccination is a minimum of 3 weeks from the first one.

We welcomed Archie into our family last Saturday and he has settled in amazingly. He is such a credit to you and your family, you have raised him so well. He is such a beautiful, sweet boy who loves exploring, playing and giving cuddles. He has a lovely nature and we cannot believe how lucky we are to have him. Archie is amazing with children and our son is so smitten with him. He spends lots of time playing with him with all his toys that he bought with his pocket money. We can't believe how well he has settled in and we cant imagine life without him.

Thank you so much to Agnes and her family. We highly recommend Cathouse Ragdoll Cattery to everyone. We will keep in touch and let you know how he is doing. You can also follow him on Instagram 🙂 @archieragdoll

We brought Riley to his forever home almost 4 weeks ago. We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to bring him into our family. He is very lovable and playful but also has a fun and cheeky side. It is clear that he has had a fantastic upbringing with how confident and cuddly he is. I will definately be recommending you as a breeder to anyone looking for a Ragdoll kitten.

We picked up Louie almost a week ago and we can’t remember life without him! He is the funniest, quirkiest, sweetest wee kitten ever. He had no problem adapting to living in our home. Him and our dog were unsure of each other the first few days, but now they absolutely adore each other. Louie is constantly purring and chatting to us, you can tell he was very loved in Agnes’ home. We are very grateful to have this sweet, new addition to our family!

Best,
Alessandra, Ross & Rex

Little Loki came home at the weekend and he is an absolute treasure. He’s very sweet, well behaved and in very good health. Agnes takes every care to ensure the wellbeing of her cats and kittens before anything else and is always helpful and available for any questions. I could not recommend Cathouse Ragdoll Cattery enough! Agnes was absolutely amazing from the moment I enquired about getting one of these beautiful cats. Duchess arrived this week and Agnes was incredible with all of the challenges going on around COVID. Duchess is the most loving, good natured and well trained kitten I could ever ask for. Agnes has been on hand to answer any questions and obviously provides such love and care in breeding and raising these gorgeous cats! I am so happy I chose Cathouse.

You can tell that the cats are well looked after. When our kitten arrived to our home, he was immediately friendly and cuddly. He used the litter tray first time and is eating well. Agnes gave us updates on his vaccinations and nicely even sent us photos of him to keep us updated on how he was doing. Due to the circumstances of covid, they personally made sure that the kittens were safely transported to us. If you’re looking for a lovely Ragdoll to take home then I highly recommend CatHouse Ragdoll Cattery :)
